Our professional development opportunities are designed in response to the ever-changing needs of helping professionals (counsellors, therapists, psychologists, equine facilitated wellness professionals, social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, medical doctors and teachers/educators).

 

Our PD offerings provide growth opportunities both professionally and personally through a mix of equine and nature based experiential and theoretical learning in a peaceful, safe, supportive, nurturing and empowering environment.  Our workshops are designed for the beginner through to the advanced level professional, focusing on practical interventions and skill development in trauma informed and resiliency focused care.

 

 PD may be applicable to the following individuals/groups:

• Teachers Convention Presentations

• Staff Development Day Workshop/Retreat

• Mental Health Professional -annual competency hours

• Pro-EFW Facilitators- PD hours (can be applied to Pro-EFW's continued professional growth hours requirement)
