Equine-Eco Assisted
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
(EE-DBT) Informed Skills Group
EE-DBT is a specialized and unique form of therapeutic skill development where a human therapist partners with a horse and an equine professional in nature, to provide therapeutic growth, emotional support, and healing.

This 12 week group program will help participants find healthy ways to communicate, express feelings and tolerate difficult emotions and situations. Participants will come for 2hrs each session and learn traditional DBT skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness through the in-person sessions and experiential activities with their partnering horses and nature.
Program Dates: TBD
Time: TBD
Ages: 18-25

To Register: Please send an email with your interest to info@foothillswellnesscollective.com
Note: Group size is limited to 8 participants

Although we truly believe that DBT skills are helpful for all humans, the group setting is not a good fit for everyone. Anyone experiencing recent psychosis, intense and frequent suicidal thoughts without an individual therapist or unable to focus for a period of 2 hours, would be encouraged to look for other mental health supports and services before our DBT skills development groups. If you are not able to commit to attending all 12 sessions, we would also recommend you consider joining our groups at another time.
